WRECK-IT RALPH 2: GAME WISHLIST

WRECK IT RALPH: THE GAMES WE HOPE TO SEE

Wreck-It Ralph and the Gang

Late last year an animated film released that would easily become one of my all time favorite animated films. That film was Wreck-It Ralph. It was a celebration of all these games that I grew up with and still love today. It brought so many properties to life as well recreate the experience on the silver screen.

Wreck-It Ralph was really the film for the game enthusiast and as well as children of the 80’s and 90’s albeit it was an animated film. Kids might love it, but they just wont get it the same way as us older folk would, that really grew up with all these awesome arcade games.

In the film we see quite a bit of cameos from some of our most beloved video games, from Sonic to Ryu as well as many more. It was good to see these characters finally make there way onto the big screen even though it was in such a small capacity, I know I loved it regardless.

With that being said I compiled a Top 10 list of characters that I would love to see in a Wreck It Ralph sequel. I have excluded the Mario Bros. because we all know they going to pop up sooner rather than later. So here is my diverse list of games I would love to see in a Wreck-It Ralph film, excluding Mario Bros.:

            10. BOMBERMAN

This was really one of my favorite games, very simple game play but quite challenging at the same time. If Ralph needs a hand, Bomberman can generate Bombs from his hands, so he would be quite the explosive addition.

            9. BATTLE TOADS

This has to be one of the coolest Beat-em Up games out there. Playing as one of three eccentric Battletoads, you had try and rescue the princess from The Vulture and kick a whole bunch of ass along the way (literally)!  Whether Ralph needs back up or abit of training, it would be cool to see these Toads make a cameo

            8. DOUBLE DRAGON

This probably has to be the Top Beat-em up game of its time. If you liked Battle Toad you would love Double Dragon, and when these games had a crossover that game was even better. If Battle Toads are in Wreck-It Ralph 2, then Billy and Jimmy should be and it will be cool to see their sibling rivalry play out on screen.

            7. WORMS

Worms is probably one of the craziest fun strategy war games ever made. These last few years the Worms games have certainly be suffering, but no one can deny that when it first released it was certainly one of the funnest games around, with some cool humorous looking worms.

If Ralph needs a army, this army of earth worms will definitely kick ass with there bazaar hall of weaponry.

            6. CRASH BANDICOOT

The first 2, 3 games from the Crash Bandicoot series are probably part of my favourite games ever. They were real adventure games, kind of like a modern version of Mario Bros. and I loved every minute of it, like many others out there. Whether Crash himself makes an appearance or Dr. Neo Cortex his arch nemesis does, I think the Crash series deserves to represented in Ralph’s film series.

            5. CRAZY TAXI

Who doesn’t love Crazy Taxi?? This is one of the coolest and most challenging car based games I have ever played and its hella fun as well. In the film we see Ralph travel by train from one game to the next but wouldn’t it be cooler to see Ralph travel by Crazy Taxi through a game!? It could be a fun wild ride!

            4. EARTHWORM JIM

A worm in a robotic suit, Jim was one badass mofo and hilarious as well. Jim quickly established himself as the “cool kid on the block” in these sort of games, and quickly became a popular figure amongst all gamers. If Jim is in Ralph’s film, it would fun to see these two characters interaction and Jim could probably be a real cool supporting character to Ralph.

            3. METAL SLUG

Metal Slug is probably the most successful run and gun gaming franchise ever! It has a real sense of humour about itself as well as an intense visual style and dynamic that makes it real easy to love.  Metal Slug also has some real memorable characters in Marco, Tarma, Eri and Fio. With experience in battling soldiers, aliens, mummies, zombies and just some real crazy creatures, this crew have seen it and done it all and they would be up to any challenge that Ralph could find himself in.

            2. FINAL FANTASY

This has to be one of the longest running gaming franchises ever, and for good reason. Final Fantasy is an adventure, fantasy, sci-fi masterpiece. Always stunningly beautiful and with a good tight knit story Final Fantasy has become a mammoth franchise that has spilled over into films, anime, books and other mediums as well. I think it would be awesome to have Ralph get lost in the world of Final Fanatsy and see that world come to life on the big screen or just represented in some way.

            1. CONTRA

While Metal Slug probably has to be the most successful gun and run type game, the first Contra game was certainly the best of its kind. A few years ago it was voted as the most Toughest Game to Beat, and that was including modern games as well. If somebody told you they completed Contra they would be probably lying. For all of the game’s simplicity it was one challenging game.
It really goes without saying that Contra should be in a Ralph film down the line as it really is a classic.

So tell me what Games, or Game characters would you love to see in a Ralph film??

IF GHOSTBUSTERS 3 EVER GETS MADE

Ghostbusters 3 Fan-Made Teaser
WILL CHANGE BE GOOD IN GHOSTBUSTERS 3?

Ghostbusters game
When Ghostbusters hit the big screen back in 1984 it was a phenomena, an instant hit, an instant classic, quite frankly it was a cult sensation! The writing, the effects, the characters, the comedy, the drama, the romance, the action, the Sci-fi, the horror, the sheer awesomeness of it all, was simply too much to allow the Ghostbusters to end with one film. So understandably 5 years later we would get the sequel.

Ghostbusters fan-art
Ghostbusters 2 released in 1989 garnering mixed reactions although it was scoring big at the box office. The film was greatly criticized by many for not trying anything new; it basically rode on the success of the first film without taking any risks itself. In 1984 Ghostbusters was considered to be one of the best films of the year, but in 1989 Ghostbusters 2 was considered to be one of the worst films for the year - talk about an incredible hit and a total miss.

Nevertheless with the massive success of the animated Ghostbusters series that soon followed, the call for a third film was stupendously loud and annoyingly noisy. However what fans didn't realize at the time, is that they would be in for a long long wait to see Ghostbusters 3 realized on the big screen - and in actual fact we still waiting!!

For one or another reason Ghostbusters 3 is something that the studio, the actors, the writers, and everyone else involved with the first two films really wanted to do but just couldn't get it done for one reason or another. Fans have been hearing things like the time wasn't right, the story isn't write, the script needs fixing, not all the actors were on board (yes I'm talking about Bill Murray) and all sorts of BS as to explain why it just ain't getting done.

So in 2009 when the first report surfaced that the Ghostbusters film will finally have a third installment, the Internet exploded with a cautious excitement.

As much as we all wanted this third film to happen and the fact that we actually got some confirmation - or maybe its better to say some serious intent - from Dan Aykryod (writer and a star of Ghostbusters), fans were still cautiously waiting to see if anything would develop. Lo and behold, three years later and we still waiting for the third film.

The Original Ghostbusters
However, Aykroyd is very serious about getting the third film out as soon as possible, as his hiring of Etan Cohen (writer of Tropic Thunder) to fine tune the script, is evidence of that.

So hopefully we looking at a 2014 or 2015 release date for Ghostbusters 3 (although there is still a chance it might not happen), and yes Akroyd was quite clear it will happen with or without Bill Murray.

So with that being said, we thought about what the third Ghostbusters film can really offer us, and if there is room to give us  something that will be pleasing, interesting and a very quite the special film.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW??

Bring back the original cast! The fun thing about doing a sequel and not a reboot of something so classic is the fact that the original actors can return as the characters they played.

Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson
What's even more fun is seeing how these characters developed; are they rich, poor, crazy, successful, still Ghostbusters, librarians, firemen, politicians?? Etc. What did they do with their lives ever since ‘89?

Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis, Annie Potts and Ernie Hudson will probably all return for the film, albeit in smaller capacity then there roles in the original, as Aykroyd stated in the past that he wants to bring in a new batch of Ghostbusters.

Rick Moranis, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts
Now we know Bill Murray said NO, but he might have a change of heart when the film edges closer to production, or maybe upon release when he actually sees how AWESOME the film is (if it turns out to be Awesome). So we feel if he won't make it for this film, they shouldn't say Venkman died, that will just irritate everyone. Just mention him, say his living on an island or something, but just keep him out the film, so that he could still return for possible future installments (and you best believe if this film is even a tiny success, there will be a sequel).

THE CLASSIC’s VS MODERNIZATION

The Ecto-1
We hoping that the new film will release in 2014, as this would mark the 30-year anniversary of the franchise as the first film released in 1984.

Now seeing how technology has changed these past 30 years, its pretty obvious that the Ghostbusters old tech will need some upgrading.

Now the thing is, Ghostbusters have some pretty iconic equipment and are we really ready for brand new versions of those things??

Ecto-2 fan made
Looking at the Ecto-1(the vehicle the Ghostbusters drive for the unfamiliar) is a pretty iconic vehicle, having a film without it will be pretty sad to see for many fans. Now here's the question, looking at recent reboots, sequels and such, when dealing with these sort of things we know they might modernize it (Batman’s BatMobile now Tumbler) or just keep it the same (as in the A-Team, BA’s iconic Black Van with the Red Strip).

Batman Begins is the best example of this as they modernized the bat mobile to what we now call the Tumbler. The Tumbler is pretty iconic in itself, and yet it's a unique design for the Dark Knight Trilogy. They literally went against all classic interpretations of the Bat-mobile and gave the caped crusader a small tank.
The Proton Packs

If we get the Ecto-2 in Ghostbusters 3, I really hope we get a similar modernized adaption, whereby the film won’t try and recreate Ecto-1, instead maybe have it cameo and then introduce fans to a whole new machine.

Ghostbusters uniform.. sort of
It should be a vehicle that has been specifically designed to be the new Ghostbusters transportation, and not just a car that has been modified.

Now onto those Proton Packs, will they be re-invented or will they stay the same? Will it be given a new design? Will its capabilities be modified??

Will we see a new and improved Proton Pack or will the old ones still be able to do the job after all this time?

Now I’m really torn between the two on this one, as I want to see a new designs for these classic weapons, but at the same time I like the iconic backpack proton canons, and I would be sad if they have to go and get replaced with something that would be less then stellar.

It would be interesting to see how the rest of the tech has changed and new tech that could be introduced, and how the Ghostbusters can take advantage of new boom in social networks and smartphones to their advantage.

One thing that we don’t see changing is the jumpsuits!! While the Ecto and the proton canons will be due for a much needed upgraded, those iconic beige jumpsuits don’t need one at all!

After all it is their uniforms, you don’t change the uniform!

THE LEGACY OF THE GHOSTBUSTERS

You might be scratching your heads right about now, wondering what I am talking about, I already wrote that we need to see what happened to the characters. However, with the Ghostbusters rising to fame back in the 80’s and because Ghost are real… There had to have been some other Ghostbuster wanna-be’s since then.

Wanna Be GhostBusters
Maybe the government decided that they couldn’t just sit back and leave the world in these guys hands every time some major Demon/Ghost decides to try and come back from the dead and tries to take over the world. I would think that the US Government – scratch that -  world governments would try and create there own faction or departments that would deal with similar situations. Thus, the Ghostbuster went out of business all those years back.

Fan-Art Ghostbusters
I just think that what these guys did should have had an impact on the world and how things were done from then on in.

This could really expand the world of the Ghostbusters and really build it to a point that gives fans that big epic huge scale film, while still being fun, outrageous and an incredible adventure.

NEW YORK VS THE WORLD

New York and the Ghostbuster go hand in hand, you can’t have the one without the other. However, since they really going to try and push this film to make it the best one ever, why not go all out and make the film have some global ramifications as to what the Ghostbusters might have to deal with.

The Ghostbusters firehouse
Have the film explore other parts of the World, have the Ghostbusters be out of their element. This will also allow the scope of the film to feel larger in nature to anything that the previous two have achieved.

THE NEW CAST

Like I have said before Akroyd plans on bringing in a new cast to introduce a new group of young kick-ass Ghostbusters. The only we thing we still not quite sure of is, will the original cast be the main characters or will that privilege fall to the newest characters?

There are advantages and disadvantages of having the old cast as the main and the new cast as supporting and vicer versa. However, I’m inclined to think that the new cast members will probably headline the film with the original cast being the supporting players, with the film really being about the transition with the old guys passing the torch.

I say this for two reasons firstly, the original cast is getting “too old for this sh*t” and secondly if you going to pass the reigns, you want the audience to get familiarized with the newbies.

As essentially if there ever is a follow up film, there would be fewer complaints if general audiences are familiar with the newbies, rather then have a film with a whole new cast that people don’t have a connection with.

So who will be the newbies, here’s our picks!

Lead character: Shia LeBeouf/Dave Franco/Michael B. Jordan/ Aaron Johnson

Shia LeBeouf, Dave Franco, Michael B. Jordan and Aaron Johnson
Shia LeBeouf was my first and only choice, but seeing as Shia has decided to ditch big budget films forever and go for independent un-simulated sex-scene movies, we doubt he will be jumping at the bit for something so dull like the Ghostbusters.

That takes us to Dave Franco. He has starred in quite a number of films in recent times, proving to be quite the comedic actor while showing his a whole different commodity than his brother. If he joins the film we could see him as the over-eager, resilient type, who is tired of living in his over successful brothers shadow, and his willingness to be taken seriously is usually his downfall.

Michael B. Jordan showed in Chronicle that he has the ability to play a very charismatic, charming, friendly type guy. Nobody can replace Bill Murray as Venkman, but what Jordan could potentially give the Ghostbusters is a character that is greatly admired by all he meets and a real poster boy for the team, that loves his newly found fame.

Aaron Johnson, most famous for his role as Kick-Ass in the film Kick-Ass, could probably do pretty well in this film. Johnson stars in Savages whereby a plays a character that is a polar-opposite to his character Kick-Ass. Given the chance he could do pretty well in this sort of film, playing the humor, drama and action scenes perfectly.

I think my first choice to lead the new Ghostbusters would go to Michael B. Jordan though

The Girl with the Brain: Emma Stone

Emma Stone
Do I even need to continue?? Emma Stone right now is one hot property, as her charm, humor, wit, sincerity and outgoingness just melts its way into your heart. I can’t remember a film that she has starred in that I didn’t instantly like her. In this film I see her as Harvard Graduate (or whatever college graduate) that really wants to work with the Ghostbusters. Hardworking, witty, dedicated, brave and feisty, she proves to be a bit of the brain and brawn of the team, a chick you don’t want to miss with!

The Business ManBrandon T. Jackson

Brandon T. Jackson
With a glorious role in Tropic Thunder Brandon T. Jackson proved that he has what it takes to star alongside big name actors and still be memorable. Adding him into the mix means you sure to get a huge amount of laughs.

In Ghostbusters we see him as a Business Grad, who just got wind of the Ghostbusters coming back into business, he sees it as an opportunity to make money, as he goes to joins the Ghostbusters. (He sets up Press Conferences, trademarks, merchandise, gains sponsorship deals, opens a YouTube channel, signs a deal with the discovery channel, basically any avenue that’s available for revenue).

The lifelong Fan with a Brain: Jonah Hill

Jonah Hill
The beautiful thing about getting Jonah Hill into a film franchise like this one, is that not only are you getting a brilliant actor but also a competent writer.

In this sort of franchise, with this sort of sitting and the outrageousness of the story, we pretty sure that Jonah will excel. In Ghostbusters we see Jonah as an overzealous fan that is incredibly smart, and is the first one to notice some paranormal activity that actually brings the old Ghostbusters together as well assemble the new ones!

Bonus pick: Nick Hoult

Hoult is our bonus pick, as he can enter the franchise and play numerous types of characters in it. He recently starred as Beast in X-Men First Class, and will be seen in Jack the Giant Killer when that releases in 2013. If you looking for a solid nerd, or the headstrong nice guy, then Hoult is your man.

Nick Hoult

We definitely have to get a Big Finale as well as loads of cameos from A-List actors, Sportsmen and Women, businessmen, top musicians and hey maybe the President, and definitely Stephen Colbert!

However, A Giant Marshmallow man reeking havoc in Manhattan is incredibly tough to beat as a finale, hopefully they are up to the task of giving us something that’s quite extraordinary!

Comment Below and let us know what are some of the things you would like to see done in this new Ghostbusters film?? Do you agree with our picks?? Comment below and let us know.

FUTURE MARVEL CHARACTER AND CAST PICKS

avengers earths mightiest heroes
We casting the Marvel Cinematic Universe
OUR MARVEL CHARACTER
AS WELL AS CAST PICKS FOR FUTURE MARVEL FILMS

Marvel 2012
Who will join the Avengers in Avengers 2??

With the recent astronomical success that Marvel's Avengers proved to be, and quite frankly is still proving to be, the comic book genre has been reinvigorated, revitalized and re-energized by Marvel's "Phase One" as it looks like we will be seeing a lot more Comic book characters make the leap to the big screen in future.

Where the Dark Knight showed the world that comic book characters could be taken seriously, when the right tone is found for the character. In Batman’s case it just happened to be when the film is more dark, realistic and grounded.

Avengers, on the other hand, showed the world why we love comics, by bringing us a story that could have easily been taken out the pages, panel for panel, of a Marvel Comic.

Needless to say that we are very excited to see what the future holds for Earths Mightiest Heroes, and as such with a Ant-Man film edging ever so closely to being realized, we decided to look at some of Marvel's Awesome characters that could make that leap to the big screen, and then we looked at the actors and actresses that could potentially play them.

We based our decisions on getting the right person, based on their look, as well their overall acting ability. We seen how Marvel has gone about picking the right people to play their heroes, whether they young and unknown (Chris Hemsworth - Thor, Tom Hiddleston - Loki), older and experienced (Sam Jackson - Nick Fury, Robert Downey Jr. - Iron Man) or simply good experienced known actors (Chris Evans - Captain America, Scarlett Johansson - Black Widow), it doesn't matter really, Marvel just look for the perfect fit for the role.

As for the characters, we just picked some of our favorite characters that we would like to see sometime in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

So check out our Top picks below and let us know what you think?
On a Weekly basis we will go into more depth about why we chose these specific characters and why we chose that specific actor or actress to play them. So make sure you come back to FilmRaps to check out that, as we will release two character + cast pick per week!

Let us know what you think? Should Marvel hire us for our inspiring picks, or should we just keep writing interesting articles to get the fan-boy brain running in overdrive??

ANT MAN AND WASP

Avengers Ant Man, Wasp, Apartment 23, krysten Ritter, James Van Der beek, The mentalist, the artist dawsons creek 2012
Berenice Bejo, Simon Baker, James van der Beek & Krysten Ritter
Our picks for AntMan and Wasp
This is probably the whole reason why we did this article, with Marvel President Kevin Feige, recently announcing that a Ant-Man film is closer than ever to becoming a reality, it's probably safe to say that Henry Pym, along with his wife, Wasp, will be joining the Avengers in the sequel.

OLDER ANT MAN AND WASP
Simon Baker is amazing as the Mentalist with his fine eye for detail; this is something that Ant-man shares, just with a fine eye for detail in technology and science. He is our number One Choice for Ant-Man.

Our Wild Card pick for Wasp, and probably our number one choice, will have to be Bérénice Bejo, the French star from the Artist. We might not know anything about her, but she really does look the part, and she really gives an awesome performance in the Artist. This could be the type of role that could define as this character and we think she could easily be loved as wasp.

YOUNG ANT MAN AND WASP
In this case we go with James van der Beek! Yes the guy that played Dawson's Creek is our pick, and why not?? He has the look, he has the acting ability, and he will probably do an incredible job of portraying a slightly young Hank Pym.

Our young Wasp will have to be Krysten Ritter (Perfect Casting). She always plays characters that are quite charismatic, vibrant, and she always seems to be having fun with her roles. With her as Janet, you can be assured that Wasp will be the fun, loving, yet the big personality we come to expect from the small Avenger.

MS MARVEL

Ms Marvel avengers marvel 2012 2015 film
Katherine Winnick, MS MARVEL, Claire Danes and Charlize Theron

Ms. Marvel is probably one character that is as big, powerful and prominent as the big three (Iron Man, Thor and Captain America) in The Avengers, in recent years! Ms. Marvel has really made her name for herself, so much so, that she is often the leader for the Avengers, and soon we will be seeing her become Marvels new Captain Marvel.

Charlize Theron would be the perfect casting for Carol Danvers. To many fans as well as us Ms. Marvel has really become the big iconic Avenger, which can stand alongside the "Big Three" as one of the best. She is a real big character and as such you would want an actress that can command the screen, and Charlize Theron can most certainly do that.

Claire Danes, has been acting for along time now, having a whole lot of TV has well film roles, she is tremendously versatile and a wonderful talent, a role like Ms. Marvel would certainly make sure that everybody knows who she is.

Katherine Winnick is our wildcard pick!! She definitely looks the part, and she has starred in a whole bunch of films and TV series albeit in minor roles. She has won silver medals in The Canadian National Taekwondo championships; needless to say she is a real fighter. With this girl being a certified fighter, and having the perfect look to play Carol Danvers, who knows, Ms. Marvel might just be her breakout role.

DOCTOR STRANGE

avengers 2012 2016
Eric Dane, Doctor Strange and Jean Dujardin

Doctor Strange is probably one thee most powerful characters in Marvels History, and he his abilities with magic cannot be rivaled!

Eric Dane is our number one pick for Doctor Strange! He definitely has the look to play Strange, but this character might be a bit of a push for Dane, but we feel that he would be brilliant in it.

Jean Dujardin is probably a wild card pick for this character, but he does have tremendous acting ability and seeing his 2 Funny or Die vids, it's clear his not shy to have a bit of fun, and Doctor Strange will be a stretch for him, but we think Jean will have fun in this role, and fans will enjoy performance by the French man! We just like Jean!!

BLACK PANTHER

avengers 2 2012 2015
Djimon Honsou, Black Panther and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje

T'Challa is one of the few black superheroes to have really made an impact in the comic book world. T'Challa comes from a fictional country in Africa called Wakanda where the title Black Panther is given to the chief of the tribe.

He also becomes a long-standing member of the Avengers, so if they choose to add more members in film, T'Challa is a no brainier.

Djimon Honsou is by far every fans number one choice as well as ours!! If there is someone that is meant for this role it has to be Djimon. It will be lovely to see his banter with Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark, when it comes to whose technology is better! Djimon is a shoe in for the role.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is our second choice for the role, as he certainly looks the part, and he is a very good actor given his long line of roles that have been quite different in the past.

LUKE CAGE

avengers 2 2015 2012
Luke Cage: Dwayne Johnson, Michael Jai White and Terry Crews

Luke Cage is a mercenary for hire, but then he also becomes a true hero, and an active member of the Avengers as well as becoming a leader of his own Avenger team.

Luke Cage posses superhuman strength, durability, a healing factor and is a very skilled fighter. He is quite the personality, being very charismatic but can be quite serious at times.

Dwayne Johnson is quite frankly an obvious choice given his physique, personality and action star status. The Rock has shown that he is more than capable of headlining is own film, as well as taking a back step in a ensemble film, which is important when thinking about Avengers.

Michael Jai White is probably our Second choice; he has the body, and the personality to really pull off a great Luke Cage. If you seen him has Gambol in the Dark Knight or has Jax in Mortal Kombat Legacy, you will know this is the guy that should be Luke Cage!

Terry Crews is our wild card pick. Terry never really had a big film with him as the sole protagonist, Luke Cage will be the perfect opportunity for Terry Crews to carry his own film, as well as being the perfect person to join a huge ensemble cast like the Avengers.

SHE-HULK
Avengers 2 2012 2016
Gina Carano, She Hulk and Erica Durance

She-Hulk has probably the easiest origin story than all female and male superheroes. It could be so easily adapted for Avengers 2 or a Hulk film! (We won't touch on it now, but make sure you check back when we explain why we want She-Hulk).

She-Hulk is also a long-standing member of the Avengers but also a Member of S.H.I.E.L.D., she will be a welcomed addition to the team.

Gina Carano is our Number One Pick for She-Hulk! This lady is an ex-UFC fighter and she is beautiful!! She might not have a whole lot of acting experience but she is better than most models, singers or wrestlers, and all her fighting experience could seriously come in handy for big action sequences.

Erica Durance is our wild card pick for She-Hulk, after all She-Hulk aka Jennifer Walters is a certified lawyer, so she is smart, powerful and incredibly charming, traits that Erica has shown on countless episodes of Smallville.

VALKYRIE

avenger 2 2012 2016
Valkyrie: Tamsin Egerton, Evan Rachel Wood and Rhona Mitra

Brunhilde is probably the only other Asgardian beside the mighty Thor himself, to have such an affinity with earth. Brunhilde (Valkyrie), the defender of Midgard, is one of thee coolest characters marvel have, and she is a Character that would be a welcomed addition if she comes in Thor 2, and manages to sneak her way into the Avengers. Even though she is an Asgardian, Brunhilde made her first appearance in an Avengers comic.

Evan Rachel Wood would be our pick for a young Brunhilde or Samantha Parrington they both Valkyrie. This young actress has been around for a while now and she will certainly bring weight to the role.

Rhona Mitra has starred in countless films as a strong female character, to general audiences she is most famous for her role in Underworld: rise of the Lycans. Mitra possesses the screen presence to really make Valkyrie feel like a warrior that has fought in countless battles.

Yasmin Egerton, might be an unknown commodity to general audience, but this beauty is a very talented actress, all she needs is the right role to take her to the top! She's our pick for Valkyrie.

SPIDER-WOMAN

Avengers 2 2012 2016
Top Left: Spider Woman, Top Right: Emilia Clarke, Bottom Left: Mary Winstead, Bottom Right: Paula Patton

Spider-Woman might share the same name to one of Marvels biggest properties, Spider-man, but that's all that they share! These two characters are nothing alike, even there powers are not the same at all.

Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman) might have a bit of a complicated origin story, especially when it comes to her gaining her powers. But she is an active S.H.I.E.L.D. agent as well as Avenger an ex-Hydra agent.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead has taken on very different roles in the past, she is a brilliant actress, she is head strong, and she has the looks as someone who can stamp her authority. She is a total fit for Jessica Drew.

Emilia Clarke is a very good actress. She had incredible depth in her acting ability, and she will bring a vulnerability to Jessica Drew that few can. Seeing that Jessica Drew is British, and so is Rebecca, this is one casting we feel just makes sense.

Paula Patton is our wild card pick and probably  one pick to really make Spider-Woman memorable. Mission Impossible has shown that she can kick ass, and she is extremely charming. She will be an awesome Jessica Drew.

VISION

avengers 2 2012 2016
Doug Jones, Vison, and Clark Gregg Aka Agent Coulson
Ultron creates vision but, he is kind of made too perfect as Vision chooses not to follow his master and instead becomes an Avenger, and a hugely popular one in fact!!

Vision is a perfect fit in this Marvel Cinematic universe, and his technology is quite baffling to everybody, as he his incredibly sophisticated machine, that's almost human in his programming and thought process. (Think Jarvis with a Body)

If Vision is done, then Doug Jones has to play him. Doug Jones did Silver Surfer in fantastic Four as well as the Abe serpent in Hellboy, so his perfect for this sort of thing.

Liam Neeson or Lawrence Fishbourne can provide the voice!

Clark Gregg played Agent Coulson in Avengers, and we all know how that ended! There has been a lot of speculation by fans about Coulson returning as Vision and we will share our thoughts on that matter soon.

MOONKNIGHT

Avengers 2 2012 2016
Mattew Fox, Moon Knight and Joel Edgerton

You think it’s difficult for a superhero to juggle 2 identities, try being Moon Knight A superhero with 4 identities: His superhero identity Moon Knight, a millionaire entrepreneur Steve Grant, a Taxi Driver Jade Lockley and his real life self Mark Spector.

A character that doesn't really have any powers, normally using traditional as well highly advanced weapons. However, this character is quite dark and has a lot issues that he has to deal with.

Joel Edgerton is a interesting prospect, if you watched Warrior you will know that Joel is a perfect for Moon Knight, if he does appear  in a future Marvel film, we hope that Joel will be playing him.

Truthfully, Matthew Fox was never on our radar for any role in any Marvel Comic that is until the first few images popped up online of him, I'm Alex Cross. Well that certainly changed our minds. Fox has always put in solid performances but with Alex Cross showing that he can go an extra mile, we certain with him as Moon Knight it will be quite an interesting take.

NOVA

Avengers 2 2012 2016
Dave Franco, Nova and Lucas Till
Marvel President Kevin Feige recently stated that Galaxy of the Guardians would get a film. Meaning more of Marvel's cosmic universe will be explored. however, how can u go exploring the universe without NOVA!! Said to be a mixture of Spider-man and DC's Green Lantern, Nova truly is an awesome character.

Lucas Till might still be young but he has been acting for quite a few years already, most notably taking a role in X-men's First Class as Havok and providing a solid performance as the mutant. We think a role like Nova could suit him very well, as he has the right look as well as personality to pull of this charismatic hero.

Dave Franco is still making a name for himself, however he does have good comedic timing, which is important for a character like Nova who is constantly having discussions with his helmet! Dave might still not have been fully tried and tested but a role like this could easily put him on the map.

RONIN aka ECHO
avengers 2 2012 2016
Ronin, Rooney Mara, Echo/Maya Lopez and Ashley Greene

General audience might not know Maya Lopez, but this badass babe (also known as Echo, real name Maya Lopez) is definitely one of Marvels coolest characters. She is deaf, with photographic reflexes, which basically means just by watching someone do something, she will be able to do it herself. Which makes her a very tough opponent to handle.

Infamous amongst Twilight idiots and maybe not as well known by general audiences, Ashley Greene is a beautiful talented actress, a true rising star. Echo is dangerous and charming, which is two traits that Greene can project wonderfully, a role like Echo could be a defining one for the actress.

Rooney Mara can portray the perfect embodiment of the character, as she will be able to project Maya Lopez's contrasting emotions while still showing her off to be a true badass! If you seen The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, we sure you wouldn't need that much convincing.

THOR 2 VILLAIN CAST

ENCHANTRESS

avengers 2 2012 thor 2 2013 2016
Imogen Poots as Enchantress

Amora aka The Enchantress is probably one of thee most loved villains in comic book history, and she is most certainly close to our hearts! She might be a villain, but this Asgardian is lost in love with Thor, as he doesn't share the same feelings for her, Amora falls into villainy to simply spite the god of Thunder.

Imogen Poots is by far our preferred choice for the role of Amora, The Enchantress. Poots is young, beautiful, mesmerizing, talented and enchanting. This role is perfectly suited for the young actress.

BONUS AVENGERS CAST

SCARLET WITCH AND QUICKSILVER

Avengers 2 X-men Mutants 2012 2016
Alexandra Daddario and Jamie Campbell Bower as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver

This brother and sister duo, might be mutants, might be the children of Magneto, might be X-Men, however above all else they are Avengers First!! With so many ties to the x-men you would think they wouldn’t be so prominent in the Avengers, but they are, and they a truly classic members.

Alexandra Daddario is our choice for Scarlett Witch. She's young, talented, and has thee most mesmerizing eyes that's befitting for the witch.

Jamie Campbell Bower, still young yet this actor is quite experienced, playing a number of different roles through out his career, yet quicksilver can be the one role that won't be long stretch for the actor, but it would be a perfect fit.

Make sure you check back at least twice a week, as we will release profiles on two characters each week, explaining why we chose them as well as why we chose the actor or actress to play.
